The muddled mess that we call a democracy in the United States is in a swirl of turmoil, and that is why we have a Constitution. Scott Adams described the situation well in a tweet today, “You are being brainwashed to accept the results of the election as fair. You will be told that only bad people are skeptical in this situation, and that you will be held to account for doubting.”
Let me offer three keys to understanding where the election stands today and how freedom loving Americans can make sense of it all…
First, the corrupt corporate media has declared Joe Biden the winner in the election and some of the social media mob have endorsed it. The key to overcoming this propaganda is to return to the 12th Amendment of the Constitution and the election process, and ask yourself, “Can any media source or politician or candidate decide the outcome of a presidential election before all legal votes have been counted and certified by the states when no candidate has conceded?”
The answer is no. In accordance with the Constitution and federal law, between now and inauguration day on January 20, 2021, states, electors and newly-elected members of Congress will follow this timeline of events.
Nov. 4 – Dec. 14: States certify election results.
- Dec. 8: The “safe harbor” deadline contained in 3 U.S. Code § 5 to resolve all disputes.
- Dec. 14: Electors vote.
Jan. 6: Congress meets in a joint session to count electoral votes and declare election results.
The second key to understanding where the election stands today is to determine how much weight you place on public relations campaigns. This is where the corrupt corporate media has an edge, so the key for Americans is to look past the media and see that what Scott Adams said is happening to you now. The key to overcoming media influence is to ignore the noise. They don’t decide elections. Turn the news off.
Finally, the third key to understanding where we stand in the election today is to learn more about how lawsuits work. There are many distinct steps: pleadings, discovery, trial, and possibly an appeal. The Trump campaign is presently – today – in the “pleadings” phase with “discovery” underway. You do not have full visibility into these phases at this time for many good reasons including privacy, a corrupt corporate media, and the fact that it takes time.
So be patient, and know that the three keys to understanding where we stand in the election today is to watch for the official certified election results on December 8th reported by state officials – which has not happened yet, ignore the mass media propaganda – turn it off, and be patient as the legal processes unfold during the next month. This will probably not be over before Thanksgiving, so plan a good dinner now.
And finally, while you are waiting for the election results to become official and the next President of the United States to be sworn into office, go enjoy your life, because you only get one.
