Lee County was named for Robert E. Lee on May 12, 1887.
In response to demands by radical Marxist Black Lives Matter rioters, Robert E. “Lee” County in Florida begins process to change name to Donald J. “Trump” County to honor the nation’s 45th President.
After an interview by Drew Steele on Fox 92.5 radio with Lee County Commissioner Brian Hamman this morning, the idea is gaining traction.
Lee County is located in southwest Florida on the Gulf Coast. The county seat is Fort Myers, and the largest city is Cape Coral.
