President Trump on Friday signed a short-term spending bill without any border wall funding to re-open the federal government, ending the longest partial federal government shutdown in U.S. history.

In a Rose Garden press conference, President Trump announced today that he had reached an agreement with Congress to keep the government open and that he was declaring a National Emergency at the southern border to stop drugs, human trafficking and criminals from crossing the border illegally.
