A 52-year-old federal government Chief Information Officer was reported missing after his car was found abandoned in the parking lot of the Ilchester Elementary School near Baltimore on Thursday. Police investigators found splatters of blood on the steering wheel and windshield of the car and discovered a large blood trail leading to the road on the pavement nearby.
Mangled body parts were also found a few blocks away on Montgomery Road in Maryland early today. Police have characterized the situation as “a dragging incident.” The upper torso of the body was missing, and police believe the remains may have been torn apart and flung into a ditch somewhere along the road. Forensic teams are tracking the blood trails on the pavement to find the missing body parts and said they believe the dragging originated from the parking lot of the elementary school where the abandoned car was found.
The name of the missing bureaucrat has not been released. Earlier this month, a 56-year-old federal government bureaucrat and his wife were found beaten to death in their ransacked home. Police said that these two incidents may be related.
Howard County Police Department spokesperson Rancid Ass issued a statement saying that anyone with information about these crimes should call their anonymous tip line.
