Tom Perez and Portia Wu Escape Prosecution

Posted on January 8, 2017June 6, 2021 by Capitol Hellway

As the clock runs down on the Obama Administration and political appointees prepare to leave office next week, Labor Secretary Tom Perez and Assistant Secretary Portia Wu are relieved to have escaped accountability for systemic racism against African Americans and whistleblower retaliation at the U.S. Department of Labor. By abusing their power and issuing threats to workers, Perez and Wu blocked discrimination complaints by managers and employees at the Labor Department, delayed processing EEOC complaints, and rewarded their loyal underlings for covering up discrimination by encouraging retaliation against whistleblowers at that federal agency.

Systemic Racism Defined

Career bureaucrats Tom Perez and Portia Wu will lose their political appointments on January 20th when President Donald J. Trump takes the oath of office. Perez is jockeying for the Democratic National Committee chair job – a good fit for someone with his experience in corruption and disinformation. Wu, who is considered very incompetent by her staff after spending the majority of her time employed in the federal government on maternity leave or caring for her child at work, is expected to take a job with Microsoft working in “public policy.”

Good riddance to you both!
