Obama Defends Kaepernick

Posted on September 5, 2016January 17, 2021 by Capitol Hellway

President Obama today supported the First Amendment rights of NFL Quarterback Colin Kaepernick to not stand during the national anthem.

Obama said that Kaepernick was raising “real legitimate issues that have to be talked about.”   see video

Kaepernick said, “I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color, to me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

Obama is a hypocrite; his entire administration is racist especially against African Americans and other minorities.

Why is Obama speaking up now about racism in the United States during his visit to China? Could it be because Trump is actually gaining ground with minority voters on the economy and international trade deals?  Have Obama and the Clinton’s decided to distract the international media by playing the race card?
