How To Avoid Manipulation By The Media This Election Year

Buckle up folks cause ‘you ain’t seen nothing yet!’

‘We The People’ of the United States are about to be drowned by the most technologically sophisticated brainwashing tidal waves the world has ever known. The Clinton vs Trump propaganda machines are gearing up to overwhelm every citizen so this article provides a few simple steps that anyone can take to be empowered to make up your own mind this election year – and not be brainwashed into becoming a Clinton or Trump robotic slave.

The most important thing that every American needs to know is why this is happening. When the oath of office is administered to anyone who works for the government, from the President to the most junior Private in the military – everyone must swear an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies.

The reason this is happening now – the confluence of big data technologies and presidential electioneering is because at the most basic level, the 2016 presidential election in the United States is a choice about the future of our country and whether or not it will remain a republic. Washington D.C. is on fire and the political propaganda machines of both parties and all the special interests want to stop you from knowing the truth so they create divisions between us, incite hate, and withhold facts and useful comparative policy analysis from the public.

To understand this more thoroughly, let’s examine how we are being influenced. Propaganda is information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view. Garth Jowett and Victoria O’Donnell have provided a concise, workable definition of the term: “Propaganda is the deliberate, systematic attempt to shape perceptions, manipulate cognitions, and direct behavior to achieve a response that furthers the desired intent of the propagandist.”[1] More comprehensive is the description by Richard Alan Nelson: “Propaganda is neutrally defined as a systematic form of purposeful persuasion that attempts to influence the emotions, attitudes, opinions, and actions of specified target audiences for ideological, political or commercial purposes through the controlled transmission of one-sided messages which may or may not be factual via mass and direct media channels. A propaganda organization employs propagandists who engage in propagandism – the applied creation and distribution of such forms of persuasion.”2]

So in other words, while we all know we are being manipulated – our strings are being pulled in so many different directions and so rapidly now that our moods are impacted and we are ripping each other apart. Like sheep into a slaughter house this fall, inside the election polling places each voter will hand over more of their constitutional rights with each ballot cast.

Make your own decisions this election by demanding useful information and by knowing what is happening to you every time you read your phone or watch television. Turn off the negative propoganda being spoon fed to you. Seek to know if a candidate will protect and defend the U.S. Constitution and then make your choice for freedom or slavery. Do you want a class of elites who have been in power for decades that do whatever they want and place themselves above the law running this country, or do you want to elect someone who will protect and defend the U.S. Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic? Make that your choice this year. Demand to know what is really happening and turn away from the propagandists. Turn away from liars. Tune towards the truth. That is really the only choice the people of this country have left now. Choose your information sources wisely.
